ABOUT US
Sababa was founded in 2006 by a group of students interested in sharing Jewish music with the community. We started out as a group of five people, and today we boast over 18 members! Sababa is an Arab word for cool that has made its way into Hebrew slang. Our repetoire ranges from religous music to secular Jewish music to just good ol' a cappella. We rehearse at NC Hillel on Thursdays at 9pm and Sundays at 8pm.
Check back for our debut CD this February, 2009!
