Alison Linas (President) is a senior Dramatic Arts and Political Science major from Richmond, Virginia.  She is involved with NC Hillel, the UNC Women's Glee Club, Sababa, and Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law.  Alison loves sports (especially Carolina Basketball!), theatre, dance, singing, and politics.  If she could be any super hero, Alison would be Roy Williams-- the greatest hero of all time!  Have a big idea for Hillel?  Get in touch with Alison!

Karen Bernstein (VP of Jewish Life) is a junior Drama and Journalism major from Charlotte, NC.  She is involved with NC Hillel, Sababa, Interactive Theatre Carolina, Blank Canvas, and National Novel Writing Month.  Karen loves taking trips to Locopops, reading, writing, working with the Harry Potter Alliance and watching movies.  Her favorite spot in Chapel Hill is the sundial by the Planetarium.  Hang out with Karen on campus and discuss your ideas for religious life!

Samantha Freiberg (Secretary/Treasurer) is a sophomore Mathematics and Spanish major from Charlotte, NC.  She is involved with NC Hillel, Sigma Rho Lamda, NC Teaching Fellows, and Public Service Scholars.  Sam loves animals (especially bulldogs), Carolina Basketball, vegan food, zumba, and backpacking.  Her favorite course on campus is Discrete Math with Dr. Rowlett.  As a first year student, Sam was very involved with FOCkers and attended Hillel Internationals, Leaders Assembly in Israel.  Want to learn about fundraising and grant writing?  Get in touch with Sam!

Deena Fulton (External Affairs Chair) is a sophomore linguistics major from Charlotte, NC.  She is involved with NC Hillel, Arab Student Organization, Chabad, Sigma Rho Lamda, and the Interfaith Alliance.  Deena loves baking, belly dancing, and all things Judaism!  Her favorite part about Hillel is the strength of the community.  If you are involved with great organizations on campus, meet Deena and figure out how we can work together!

Jessie Zaleon (Religious Chair) is a junior Biology and Spanish major from Chapel Hill, NC.  She is involved with NC Hillel, Sigma Rho Lamda, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the pre-vet club.  Jessie loves photography, music, and animals.  Her favorite spot in Chapel Hill is Cup of Joe (a coffee shop on the north side of town) and her favorite part of Hillel is hanging out during Shabbat dinners.  Want to join the Religious Affairs committee?  Get in touch with Jessie!

Andrew Schwartz (Shabbat Chair) is a sophomore Mathematical Decision Sciences and Business major from Milwaukee, Wisconson.  He is involved with NC Hillel, AEPi, Honor Court, and Di-Phi.  Andrew loves reading Harry Potter, chocolate chip cookies, and watching UNC football.  His favorite part of Hillel is getting to know so many different people.  If you are interested in leading Shabbat services or giving a D'var Torah (a cool piece of Jewish learning), contact Andrew!

Samantha Stiles (Tzedek Chair) is a senior International Studies major.  She has lived in several places including North Carolina, Maryland, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and France (Go ask her about these adventures!).  Sam is involved in NC Hillel, S.U.D.A.N., Project Dinah, and Bounce Back.  She loves international politics, traveling, anything related to France, caffeine, and camping.  Sam's favorite UNC Basketball player is Sean May, #42.  Discuss UNC basketball and how to get involved with social justice at NC Hillel with Sam!
